The Tauranga Tragedy.
ArcKL.VND, last night.— Mrs Munro, the fourth victim of the domestic tragedy last week, died last night, and was buried today. Another inquest is proceed: I^'. The last survivor, the little boy, bids fair to recover from his terrible injuries. To-day.— Further particulars of the death of Mrs Muiu-o state that she never recovered consciousness. On Saturday she had an attack of convulsions and tore all the bandages off her head, exhibiting a wonderful strength for her state. The doctor had her two wrists tied together with bandages to prevent such a thing occurring, but the nurse had loosened the bandage, and m her convulsive efforts she broke the fastening and instinctively put her hands to her head, tearing the bandages off. She eventually passed away comparatively peacefully. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, and was a most affecting one. The inquest concluded yesterday. llie jury after quarter of an hour's deliberation returned a verdict of wilful murder against Munro. The following rider was added: " The jury are of opinion that Government should cause a searching enquiry to be made as to how Munro came to be released from the Auckland Asylum, there being no evideuce to show. he was discharged through any or kpplicatiou of his friends."
