Presbyterian Assembly.

Auckland, to-day. — A committee, consisting of the Auckland Presbytery, was appointed to consider the report on the desirability of adopting a scheme for periodical changes of Ministers. At the Presbyterian Assembly to-day it was resolved that the Rev. Win. Gillies, of Timaru, be the next Moderator. Dr. Elinslie was appointed Deputy to the Synod of Otago and Southland.
