The following games have been recently played on the Gisborne Bowling Club's green for a trophy presented by Mr D. Johnston, Vice-President of the Club. Chrisp Capt. Chrisp (skip) 31 F. Skeet (skip) 8 Mann Day J. Coleman Muir W. O. Skeet Harris Capt. Chrisp (skip) 30 Witty (skip) ... 9 The first match was also played on Saturday for a trophy presented by Mr R. Loudon, the teams being : — Collins Mann E. J. Chrisp Day Muir J. Coleman Matthewson (skip) 21 Loudon (skip) ... 19 The remainder of the matches for this prize will be played off during the week, after which trophies presented by other members of the Club will be competed for.
