Pahiatua Wedding Poisoning
«. Wellington, to-day. — All those poisoned at the Pahiatua wedding are reported to be. doing well. A report that a child of Mr Taylor's had succumbed is incorrect. This fact was wired by th« district constable last night, who statesjthat tho first information was obtained frlm one of the family. Mr *Tt>swill, solioyur for the Taylors, has wired to the Inspector of Police, urging that Detective Herbert, who svas about to return to town, should be allowed to remain a longer period in order to make the fullest enquiry into the unfortunate affair. The Inspector is now in the district.
