The U.S.S. Co/s Wairarapa, 1786 tons (Cape. Melntosh), left Wellington at 11.30 p m. on Friday night, arriving ab Napier about 5 o'clock on Saturday evening. She left Napi«r again at midnight, arriving hero at 7 30 yesterday morning, and proceeded on to Auckland and Sydney at 11.40 a.m. Passengers— lnwards : Meadames Johnston and Cufehbert and child ; Messrs Johnston, Sainfibury, Eames, Henderson, Clayton, Ambridge, Warde, Buddeley, Robertson, James, Rae, Davi?, Clennan, Balneavis, McKay, McLean, Weir (2), Mai shall, Waaka, aad Mohi. Outwards : Miss Rosie ; Mesdames Wethered and Taruke ; Messrs Parker, Wethertd, Gregory, Low«, Bensou, aadSayars. There were four excursionists on the round trip by this ship. Tlio Tarawere will run the fifth of these popular excursion trips, leaving Giaborne on the 13th of September. Tfee U.S.S. Co.'s Dingadee is making n special trip to W«stporfe, and will therefore not leave Wellington until mid-day on [Thursday, reaching hore on Saturday mornIng, and procieds on to Coast ports und Auckland at 8 a.m. 3b«, TJ.S;S. Co.'s Australia (Capt. Gibbs), from Att«klaad and ('oast ports, leaves the former port to-morrow evening and arrives ! here en Thursday afternoon. The U.S.S. Co. 'a Te Anau, 1652 tons (Capt. Todd), from Auckland and Sydney, leaves Auckland at noon on Thursday and arrives on Friday afternoon. She proceeds on to Southern ports soon after ai-tivu.l. The U.S.S. Co.'s Manapouri (Capt. Logan), from Southern ports and Melbourne, arrives here on Sunday next, proceeding on to Auckland only soon atter arrival. Tke a.a. Oh&u (Capt. McDonald) leaves Dunedin to-morrow (Tuesday), calling at Oamara - and ' Tim&ru on Wednesday and Thursday. She reaches here via Napier on Sunday next. Owing to the increased trade on the coast, the s.s. ' Dingadee will in future call each trip .both North and South at Waipiro iv conjunction with the Australia. The cutter .Mana sailed yesterday for Napier.The schooner Mariner is now due hero from Tairua with timber.
