An Important Amalgamation,
Dunbdin, to-day. The basis of an agreement has been arrived at between the Union Steamship Company and the Taßinanian Steam. Navigation Company, by which the business of ths two companies will be practically amalgamated. The s.s. Rotomahana will probably trade between Hobart and MclI bourne, and the Patutna, one of the Tasmanian Company's large steamers, will extend her voyages to New Zealand. i — — — — —
