The Opotiki Libel Cases.

Auckland, to-day. In the libel charge preferred by Mr Wyatt, formerly school teacher at Opotiki, against the Rev. T. J. Willis, Anglican minister there, the jury returned a verdiot of "Not Guilty." In the case of Stewart Bates, found guilty of libelling the Rev. Wills, his Honor ordered Bates to enter into his own recognizances and come up for sentence when called upon
