Dcjnedin, to-day. The final payments for the Dunedin Oup are : —Hilda, Occident, Freedom, Crutchfield, Prime Warden, and Assyrian King. The latest offers are 6to 4 againsb Hilda, 2 to 1 Freedom, 3 to. 1 Prime Warden and Occident. At a committee mooting of the D.J.O. it was deoided to add a race to the first day's programme ab the approaching meeting, to be called the Kakanui Relief Stakes, of 200 soys, the winner to be sold for Lls, and the surplus (if any), with the proceeds of the totaliaator, to go to the funds. The following nominations have been received for the Napier Park meeting on March 24th and 25th :— Napier Cup, 300 soys : Kapo, ftecluse, Lenore, Kiekie, Seraph, Wayland, Hilda, Cissy, Dudu, Misfortune, Lochness, Crnckshot, Jenny, Thackeray, Pouawa, Retina, Boulanger, Wakatipu, Aronoel, Huerfana, Queen of Trumps, Pani, Maid of Lornc, A Mr E. \V. (iuit, who formerly taught in the Teinuka District "High School, is tiow an auctioneer in Samoa, and lately married a native lady there nmid groat jeremony. The lady's bridal dmss is described us consisting of mats. How maiiy )f them she wore it is not said.
