»- . The U.S.S. Co.'s Australia (Capt. Gibbs) arrived from Auckland and coast ports at 12.45 yesterday, bringing ; — Judges Barton and VonSturmer ; Messrs Steele, Heweison, Harris, K. J. Dickson, Somerviile, Nihoniho, Smith, Ackland, and Honi Pefci. She steamed South at 4 p.m., taking 230 sacks of grass seed for Blackhead. The U.S. S. Co.'s Tarawera left Wellington at midnight last night. She should leave Napier this evening and arrive here about 7 a.m. to-morrow morning, proceeding on to Auckland at 8 a.m. The s.s. Southern Cross (Capt. Black) arrived at Auckland this morning. She will leave on the return trip at 5 p.m. tomorrow* The s.s. Omapere (Capt. Smith) leaves Dunedin to-morrow, Oamarii Wednesday, Timaru Thursday, and arrives here via Napier on Sunday, proceeding on to TaurangA and * Auckland shortly after arrival.
