The ship Doveron, bound from Freemantle to How land Island, where she was to load guano, has arrived here after a most eventful voyage. On the voyage to Rowland Island she met with adverse weather, and the passage occupied a lengthened period of 74 days. On arrival at the island lying-off was attendant with great danger, and the officers and men signed a round robin to the captain, requesting him to leave with the ship. Finding himself in an awkward position the captain was forced to accede to the request of the crew, and the vessel was headed for Auckland, but not without a protest from the captain. On the way to Auckland the Devevon again fell in with bad weather, and as she was unable to make that port the captain came on here, where he arrived after a passage of 24 clays. It is the intention of the captain to prosecute the crew on a charge of mutiny. .The Darling river is rising, and the water at Boushe is now within 12 feet of the height attained at the late heavy flood. There is still a large quantity of water still to come down the river, and some anxiety is felt for the town. Sailed : Jubilee for Wellington. Feb. 7. The Postal Conference meets on February 26. The order of business has not yet been arranged, but the two principal items will be the discussion of postal and cable rates. HOBART, Feb. 7. The court-martial has ordered Lieut. Moore, of H.M.S. Penguin, who was j charged with writing a letter making | frivolous and unfounded charges against a superior officer to forfeit five months' seniority, and be dismissed from the Penguin. ____________
