The strikers tore up a private railway line leading to the Bullambi colliery, doiug damage to the extent of LI2OO. The telegraph live was also cut, and a portioi; of the Government railway damaged. The ; owner of the colliery has now arrived with a force of free laborers. Oct. 24. In addition to the damage done to the line of railway leading to Bullambi colliery, a large number of trucks were set free on the steep railway incline .mil owing to the points being wedged cln trucks were Lhro'.m over the embaukineii. and completely demolished. Melbourne, Wednesday. The master butchers have decidea t.. lock out the men on Saturday unless they conform to the new rules. The Slaughtermen's Union will remain passive and allow the members of the Union to be locked out. It is understood that the butchers will refuse to cut up meat killed by'free labor. ADELAIDE, Oct. 24. The marine engineers have decided to take no further action in respect to their refusal to sail with non-unionists unless the employers granted a conference.
