[By Electric Telegraph.— Cop yeight.] (Per Press Association.) LONDON, Sept. 11. The Australian cruisers are rapidly being fitted up, and will be ready for service early next year. Mr Tyser intends " to run opposition steamers,the shipping ring having expelled the Colonial Union line. Mr Tyser has received promise of support, and it is likely the fight will result in steam freights being reduced to 30s per ton. Arrangements are being made to lay on a first class line of steamers from Glasgow and Liverpool to Australia. Sept. 12. Arrived : barque Martha Fisher from Lyttelton (May 17), and barque General Berthant from Mercury Bay (June 10). BERNE, Sept. 11. It is reported that a revolution has broken out in Ticino owing to a revision of the constitution, and that 2,000 troops have been called out to quell the disturbance.
