". ' ' Wellington to-day. The Customs revenue for May, exclusive of Timaru, was L 125.658, against L 126.274 for April aad L 110,062 for May, 1889, Timaru will contribute about L2OOO. The amounts at the principal ports were : —Auckland L 24,902, Wellington L 24,077, Christchurch, L 22,177, Dunedin L 32,400. Beer duty, exclusive of Timaru and Westport, was L 4251, against L 4615 for April and L 4147 for May last year. Auckland contributed L 957, Christchurch LBIB, Wellington L 656, and Dunedin L 1059. The two missing places will furnish about XHOmore.
