No person shall be allowed to start a horse in any race,other than the Hack Race, unless he be a subscriber of a least 1 soy. to the race fund. 2. All protests to be lodged with the Secretary in writing, within fifcecn minutes after the race, accompanied by a deposit of 2 soys., which will be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. 3. The decision of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, will in^H^ases be final, and nominations will be HHBvecl only on that condition. ~"*WP 4. Nominations, enclosing entrance fees, name, age, description* pedigree, and pre vious performance of norses, and colors of rider, to be in the hands of the Secretary not leter than 8 p.m. on the 22nd day of February, 1890. Nominations to be addressed : — "The Secretary of the Tologa Bay Jockey Club, Tologa Bay Post Office," and marked " Entry for Tologa Bay Races." No delayed nominations will be received. 5. The above conditions, and the code of rules of the Auckland Turf Club, including the Schedule of Weights, will be strictly adhered to. 6. All nominators of horses for this meeting, will, for the purposes of the meeting, be deemed to be the owners, Five per cent, to be deducted off winners. Nominations close on February 22nd.
