A fatal accident happened at Adelaide on November 20 to a woman named Mrs Ksan. She was driving a trap along the Payneham road, and collided with another vehicle. She was thrown out and killed, her neck being broken. One of Lord Hopetoun's private secretaries the other day attended at the Cus-tom-house, Melbourne, and paid a cheque for LIOO in anticipation of the duty on carriages, liveries, etc., which the Governor is importing.
