LONDON, Dec. 27. The Admiralty haa ordered the gunboat Stork and the new gunboat Lizard to prepare to join the Australian squadron. Theße vessels are to replace the sailing vcsaek on the station. Frozen meat cargo by the Shaw, Savill, Albion Co.'s Coptic, which arrived at Plymouth on Saturday afternoon, has been examined, and found to be in good condition. Australian mails dated Molbourne,Nov. 17, per P. & 0.00.' b Thames, were delivered to-day, via Brindisi. The British Government have received official assurances from the French Government that the evacuation of the New Hebrides will be completed within the time specified in the recently concluded Convention.
