THE BLENHEIM FIRE.

ANOTHER DEATH : NEGLECT. Blenheim, to-day. No < tier casualties from the late fire are roported. The jury, at the inquest on Saturday, added a rider as to the loose way the hotel was conducted, the landlord having admitted going to bed without closing the back door, and also having failed to procure tho. necessary fire escapes as ordered by the Licensing Committee. Later. Mr Richard Winter, editor of the Marlborough Times, and formerly of tho Blenheim Express and Wnnganui Chronicle, and several papers in the North Island, died last evening at the Wairau Hospital from mortification caused by I injuries received at the late fire.
