Auckland, to-day. The mission schooner Southern Cross arrived here on Saturday from her trip to the Islands. The Cross brought the crew of the American whaling ship Petrel, who were picked up on Pacific Island. The s.a. Kahu arrived from Gisborne at 8 a.m. yesterday. Lyttelton, to-day. The s.s. Coptic sailed for Plymouth on Saturday night. Napier, to-day. The s.s. Mararoa arrived from Gisborne at 7 a. rii." yesterday.
