STONEWALLING IN SYDNEY.

Sydney, to-day. The Legislative Assembly has been sitting continuously since yesterday afternoon in consequence of the opposition of members stonewalling the Bill to give effect to alterations in. the Customs duties. The Assembly is still sitting. The House being in Committee on the Customs Bill. The galleries have been closed. A point has been raised that there ia no House as the Speaker did not; take the chair to-day. (»reat confusion exists in the Chamber and Messrs Sheppard and Wisdom have been suspended for disorderly conduct. Later. \The Legislative Assembly is still sitting, an&it is thought probably that it will continue -to do 3D until Tuesday next. Several scenes of great confusion occurred during which members threatened one another with personal violence. At times the House has been a perfect Babel.
