A - Pamphlet containing full information and instructions for using the Specific, and copies of Testimonials, sent post free on application to the undersigned. At the late trial of the various Dips instituted by the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Paßtoral Society this Specific was brought into competition with eight others, viz. — Tomlinson & Htiyward's, Hall's, Little's, Jeye's, Cooper's, Logan & Wilson's, McDougall's, and Gillaid's, and after undergoing the most oareful tesb the Committee unanimously pronounced — j Thomas' Carbolised Sheep-Dipping CoMtosmoN Superior to all Others. It is the Cheapest Dipping Specific known, the cost being only 3s 4d for every Hundred Sheep Dipped.— lt iB the most successful application for the destruction of Tick, one dipping only being necessary. —It is easy of application. It does not rtquirt hot water. —It is over twenty years since the Composition was introduced into Victoria, and not a single /ailure has been recorded. — At the Adelaide Exhibition the Specific was awarded a Gold Me'da. 1 i at Geelong a Silver Medal.— This Specific does not stain the wool. The introduction of Carbolising into its composition cannot be too highly estimated. It is an extra active agent, powerful in arresting any tendency to scab, and, as a disinfectant, of course standa pre-eminent. At the same time it promotes the health of the sheep and stimulates t_?e growth of wool —the quality of which it improves so materially that instances can be adduced where as much as three pence a pound has been obtained for Wool where this Specific was used over that were other Dips were applied. As a remedy for Scab or Tick, this Dip has become celebrated, and has established itself as by far the cheapest and the most successful Specific known. The price is only Is per lb., and 100 lbs. are sufficient for a bath to dip 3000 Sheep. Care should be taken that the Composition is thoroughly dissolved, which is easily done by stirring Well in a small quantity of water before adding the bulk. If the water used be hard or brackish, a little Soda or Potash may be added before dissolving the composition. For the cure of Tick, Lice, or Fly, one dipping in a solution made in the proportion of One Pound to Fifteen Gallons, and prepared as above, will be found thoroughly efficacious. The Makers have succeeded in effecting further improvements in the manufacture of this Specific, whereby it is rendered more easy to mix, etc. Shipments of this Dip are now arriving, and considerable quantities kept in stock.
