♦ (By Telegraph.) [Per United Press Association.] Wellington, this day. Tho various candidates for the City and Country Electorates are addressing the electors in all directions. In every case, as yet, «a vote of confidence has been carried. Blenheim, this day. Mr W. H. Eyes (formerly Superintendent of Marlborough) addressed the electors at Turakina last night, as a candidate for the Picton seat in opposition to Mr Connolly, and received a vote of confidence. He favors a coalition, including Sir Julius Yogel, Major Atkinson, and Mr Biyce. Dunedin, this day Mr Gillie 3 addressed the Bruce electors and supported Sir Julius Vogel's leadership. Nelson, this day. Mr Pepper addressed the city electors last night. He received a patient, hearing, and was accorded a vote of confidence. He declared himself a supporter of Major Atkinson. Mr Kerr addressed the electors at Takaka and Collingwood, and received votes of confidence at each place.
