Colonial breadstufls— Adelaide wheat, ex store, 48s ; ditto flour, ditto, 33 ; New Zealand wheat, ex ■tore, 42s 6d to 16s. The total quantity of wheat afloat (or the Lnited Kingdom Is 1,700,000 quarters. Australian tallow— Best beef, 40s ; beat mutton, 41s. Kauri gum, best selected transparent, £18 por owt.
At th« wool sales at to-day's auction 9,200 were offered. Thora was a firm and active demand. September 16. At to-day's wool auction the catalogue coiuprisod 11,400 bales. The market is firm.
