The Poverty Bay Turf Club Rules will be strictly adhered to, unless where otherwise specified. No entries shall be received except on these conditions : That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out ol the mcing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint, and their decision shall Oe rival. Any jockey riding except in colors entered, or proper jockey costume, will be lined 20s. Any person entering a protest shall deposit the bum of three pounds with tho Stewards, and such protest proving frivolous, tiie amount shall be forfeited to the Race Fund. Nominations for the Handicap Huidles and Prince of Wales' Birthday Handicap, enclosing colors, oil the night of tho 13th October, at the Masonic Hotel ; weights to be declared on tha liOtli October, and acceptances on tho night of general entry at the Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, Saturday, November 3rd, at S p.m. sharp.
