Up to date 175,000 bales have been sold, ana 7i),000 bales have been taken (or export. The wheat market is quiet ; Adelaide is worth 47s o'd, and New Zealand Jus, per 4yi>ilw ; New Zealand fair average quality is wortn, c.i.f. oil coast, 41s per ISOIbH. The weather is unsettled. The tallow market is quiet ; mutton is worth 4-t---<kl, and beaf 41s, per cwt. Tho leather market is quiet ; best sides are worth lljd per lb. The New Zealand hemp market is quiet ; tine is worth .Ciper ton." A later telegram, dated 12th September, aays :_" The wool sale programme; has been curtailed by four days. The Uanl; of England rate ol discount is Hi per cent."
