NATIVE LANDS COURT.
The arrangements that have been under negotiation by Messrs. Johnson, Chambers, and the natives, with regard to the Repougaere Block, were finally concluded yesterday in the Native Lauds Court, in which all parties concerned agree. The land is to be cut up into three portions, one part for Mr. Chambers, the present occupier, another part for the natives, and the third for Messrs, Johnson. We are given to understand that all disputes are now settled. At the opening of the Court this morning Hirini Haereone applied to the Court not to take Mr. Rees' assurance that heappeared for all the natives. The fact was he (Mr. Reea) is only authorised to appear for one person — Wi Pere. Rapata Wahowaho applied to have the Okahuatiu subdivision brought on. The Ohinekura subdivision was then proceeded with, Hirini Haereone, the only non-seller, getting his portion cut out. Matawhero C was then called on. Nganaou proceeded to address the Court with regard to his wife's interests therein.
