Mails olose as follows : — For Napier, Wellington, and South ; also the Australian Colonies, per Rotomahana, on Friday, Dec. •23rd, at 3.30 p.m. For Auckland, per Rotorua, on Saturday, Dec. 24th, at 7 p.m. . For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asi», Africa, America, and the West dndies, via San Francisco ; also the Sandwich Islands, on r riday, December 30th at 3 p.m. Money orders may be obtained and letters registered until 2 p.m. same da>\ Notk :— A» Christmas and New Year's Day fall on a Sunday, it has been decided to close all Post Offices on the following days, viz : the 26th December and 2nd January, except lor one hour from 9 to 10 a.m. J. Siirimptox, Chief Postmaster.
