A FASHIONABLE QUAKER WEDDING.

The marriage of Mist Margaret Sophia Bright, youngest daughter of the Richt Hon. J. Bright, M.P., to Theodore Cash, of 25 Montague-Street, Russel nqtiare, London, brother to Midgley Caah, of Tom n ay, took place recently at the Friends Meeting-house, Torquay. Mr. Bright, with his daughter and a large number of friends and relatives, stayed at the Victoria and Albert Hotel on Tuesday night, whence they proceeded next morning to the MeetingHouse. Mr. Fowler, M.P., accompanying Mr. Bright. The bridesmaids wore Misa A. Briwht, Miss R Bright, Miss Jesse GrosGnld and Miss Juliet Crostield, all of whom were attired in pale blue silk, tho bride wearing a handsomo Whito silk, with vail an<l wreath of orange blossom*. offered by Mrs. Fox, of Oak hill, Torquay, after which the ceremony was gone through in the usual form, and the bridegroom, taking the brido by the hand, repeated the following words : " Friends, in the fear of the Lord and in the presence of this assembly, I take this my friend, Margaret Sophia Bright, to be my wife, promising through Divine asai*unce t«> be unto her a loving and faithful husband until it shall pluase the Lord by death to separate us." Similar words were repeated by the bride, after which Mr. W. Robinson, of Scarborough, delivered a brief but impressive address to the newly married couple. The marriage certificate, which whs artistically engrossed on vellum, was signed by about forty of those present. The marriage was afterwards registered in the usual form by the District Registrar, and, the ceremony over, the wedding party returned to the Victoria and Albert Hotel, where the wedding breakfast was served. Crowds of persons watched the arrival and departure of the wedding party. — Court Circular.
