County Stakes Handicap of 30 boys. for Ist horse, and 10 soys. for 2nd horse, for all horses bred in the County of Cook ; winner of Maiden Plate to cany 71bs. extra ; distance, one mile and a quarter. Nomination of 1 soy. on the 14th January, 1882, and acceptance of 2 soys. on the 14th February, 1882, night of general entry ; weights to be declared on the 28th January, 1882. Start at 2.45 p.m. 4. I First race each day to start at 12---o'clock punctually. Handicaps to be made by the Handicappers.. No owner or nominator shall be qualified to enter a hoise unless both be aubscribera of at least Two Guineas to the raco fund. Second horse to save his stakes, excepting Handicaps aud Hack Races. All entries (except the Tradesman's Handicap, Hurdle Race Handicap, Turanga Stakes Handicap, Publicans Puree, and County Stakes Handicaps (which are to be sent in at time, and aa above specified addressed «_ below, must be in writing and forwarded to the Secretary at tho Maßonic Hotel not later than 9 p.m., on the 14th February, 1882 and enclosing fee of 10 per cent on value of stakes together with qualification. All entries to inclnde names, deacnp tion aud age of horses, aud colors of riders. Jockeys to ride in colors as deaonbed in entry, otherwise subject to a penalty of one pound, The winner of any match run on the course to pay 20a towards Club funds.
