Adams, bay colt, Ist. Mr. S. Locke's Special Prize of £2 10s for Best Pen of 10 Longwool Sheep, bred in the district. J. E. Espies, Ist prize ; G. L. Sunderland's 10 ewes, shorn 20th Oct., J. B. Poyutei's. Mr. S. Locke's Special Prize of £2s 10a for the Best Collection of Agricultural Implements made in the district. G. Humphreys, Ist, Mr. Common's Special Prize of £1 10s for Best Sample Fresh Butter (5!b3). • Entries : G. L. Sunderland, W. Johnson, and Mrs. C. Young, the latter being the winner. Mr. Common's special prize £1 10s. for best local made cheese. This prize was awarded to J. Woodbine Johnson, Mr. Common's special prize, £1 la. Best sample local ham and bacon: Entries — Woodbine Johnson, D. McNair, M. Hall, the latter being declared aa entitled to receive the prize.
