LONDON. October 14. The warrant under which Parnell waa arrested charged him with intimidation of people to pravent their utilising the Land Act or paying rents. Since Parneil's arrest, several meetings have been held in Ireland, at which defiant speeches wore m 'de by prominont Leaguers. Considerable excitement has been caused throughout the country V>y the action of the Executive, and the feeling is extending. Numerous meetings have been held in various parts of Ireland, at which proposals have been made by speakers urging that tenants generally should refuse to pay any rent until Mr. Parnell had been released. A special gazette has been issued by the Irish Executive to-day, in which •• Boycotting " and coercion to join the League are proclaimed criminal acts. Several further arrests of prominent agitators have been made, including Arthur O'Connor, member for Queen's County ; J. O. K«lly, member for Koscommon ; F. Sexton, member for Sligo, and Quinn, Secretary of the Land League. A warrant has also been issued for the arrest of Hoaley, member for Wexford, and several other arrests are known to be imminont. A very severe hurricane has been experienced on the English coast, causing numerous wrecks and immense damage to shipping; and to seaport towns, and several lives have been lost.
