News bos been received from Tunis that the bombardment of Sfax by the French war vessels resulted in the partial destruction of the town. The bombardment is still being continued, and an attempt was made to-day to land a storming party, but the Arabs who were assembled in Btrong force, opened a heavy fire on the boats, and the troops failed to effect a landing.
