This Day

The City of New York arrived from Sydney yesterday. There was no sickness on the passage, but the passengers will neveitheless be quarantined for twelve days from their departure from Sydney. The outward passengers for San Francisco were taken down to the steamer at the quarantine ground. The following brood mares have been shipped to Auckland for the Stud Company — Atalantis, Bergere, Madcap, and Rosette. The latter is out of Rouge Ruse, dam of the famous Bend Or.
