June 20. At the wool sale to-day, 5,900 bales were offered. The demand was firm.
In the House of Commons to-day, Mr. Gladstone con6rmed a statement made by the Daily News on the 17th inst., that representations had been made to the United States respecting the operations of Fenians in England and America.
