In compliance with the request of numerous customers, we have decided to hold a. monthly sale of Wool and Sheepskins at Makaraka on the first Wednesday in each month, commencing June ißt. Up-country clients will kindly forward theirs at any time to Mr. Caulton at Makaraka, and those coastwise will be received by us at the wharf, Gisborue. PITT & BENNETT. BOURKE & SMITH HAVING made arrangements for the use of the Sale Yards, intend establishing a MONTHLY SALE of Cattle, Horses, and Stock of all sorts, Farming Implements, Produce, &c. — the FIRST Monday in every month at Makaraka, and the THIRD Monday in every month at Waerenga-a-hika. The following is the order of dates on which the Sales will be held : Makaraka, Monday 4th July Wakrenga-a-hika, 18th July Makaraka, Ist August Waerenga-a-hika, 15th Aug. And so on throughout the year, commencing at 12 o'clock. Entries for sales are requested to be sent in hb soon as convenient. Our object in starting the above is to meet a much felt want, that of regular sale days throu^liout the year, offering dealers special advantage for buying and selling stock. &c. N.B. — Liberal Cash advances will be made against Stock and Produce of any description entered for absolute sale at any of our monthly sales. For the convenience of sellers living at a distance inland, paddocking accommodation for stock close to the Sale Yards at the rate of Gd per week per head can be provided by application to the Auctioneers.
