NATIVE LAND COURT.

The Court gave judgment this morning in re that portion of the Manga tn Block (about 1u7,000 acres) which lias been under investigation for the last two weeks, to the following effect : — That Wi Peri and his party, claiming from Wahia, are the principal owners ; that Wi Mahuika and others, descending from To Waka Mahuika, are entitled to a portion of the block ; and that the Ngariki hapu are also entitled to Hie land by virtue of occupation, as well as ancestral claims. Wi Pere and Wi Mahuika, after delivery of the judgment, agreed to mark off boundaries and hand in list of owners on Wednesday next. Tlio claim set up by Pemia Auta, as a descendant of Hint; Rohe, was not admitted, it having been proved that the said claim was mata tao (cold). This matter is of considerable importance, a3 a very largo area of land will now be proclaimed as having the title individualized.
