NATIVE LAND COURT.

This Count, presided over by Judges Heale and O'Brien, sat this morning, and went on with the investigation of the Oariki Block, near Mr. Davis, at Toroa. Old Tamihana Ruatapu was brought hi on purpose to give evidence, and there is a great amount of scheming on tho part of the Waeranga-a-hika people to get in, as the land is very valuable. Ou Monday the big block Waipaoa Matawai, 160,000 acres, will be called on. Mr. Cuff has come down especially to advise Wi Pere, and assist him in proving the claim of Te Aitanga Mahaki. When this block is passed through, a considerable sum of money Will be put in circulation.
