AUSTRALIAN GABLE NEWS.
BRISBANE. Wednesday. A destructive fire occurred last night at the wharves at Petries Bight on the Brisbane River. The five broke out at midnight and raged for some time, doing great damage to property. Insurances :
£2000, South British ; £800, Standard ; and £300 National. Half of the South British i*isk is reinsured in the National and Colonial of New .Zealand.
