AUCKLAND.

This Day. Three boys from the Industrial School named Oharles Battomove, James Whorsky and James Beysterain, were charged at the Police Court on Saturday with larceny. Battomore ' and Whorsky were sentenced to one week and Beysterain to four months' imprisonment, all three to be flogged. Samuel Kennedy has been committed for trial for the Northern Wairoa jewellery robbery and for gum stealing. Some residents at Russell are going in for orange culture owing to orange trees thriving so well there.
