The Conversazione at the Exhibition last night was a complete success. 13,000 persons were present. The building was illuminated by the electric light. Many Courts including the New Zealand was closed. :■ The question of opening the Exhibition at night is being much dis- |. cussed. Sir Herbert Sandford, British Commissioner, has protested against it being done.
