SPECIAL MEETING. j , A Special Meeting of the Borough Council was held last evening to |decide upon the expenditure anft allocation of the loan. j | There were present jCrs. Clayton : — "That the Gladstone Road be metalled tho whole width of the road from Read's Quay to boundary as per Schedule A and in accordance with purport of loan. .' Brown ;-" That Gladstone Road be metalled the whole width from Read's Quay to Cobden- Street, and 20ft. wide from there to Read's (Sate, kerbing to Cannrvon Street, gravel to Riad's Gate.
