The debate will be resumed on Monday. August 28. At the wool sales to-day, 8,300 bales were offered., -The tone of sale was of a quiet tendency. CALCUTTA. August 28. Ayoub Khan hag withdrawn his forces to a position eight miles from the citadel of Candahar, and virtually raised the siege. It is believed this is due to General Roberts' advance.
