KITCHEN'S CELEBRATED Blood Restorer

Opperman, Esq., a wealthy island trader .was for some months lying ill at Bappemamma an island of the Kingsmill Group, in the Pacific. He had been seized with rheumatic fever, which was followed by complicated disordera of a terribly severe nature, assuming the form of a species of palsy never before known. The sufferer's limbs swelled, the legs lost all sensibility to pain ; the foot could be wrenched round or the skin pierced with a lance •without inflicting the slightest suffering. The sick man was evidently unconscious of his having legs, and his brain was seriously affected as with lunacy. In this deplorable state he was kindly brought from the islands to Auckland by Mr. H. Henderson in the schooner Coronet, Captain Moeller and, being a German, he was received by the German Consul, G. Von der Heyde, Esq., and placed in the District Hospital, where he received treatment for three weeks with no indication of improvement, his case being pronounced by one and all a most hopeless one. The captain of the Coronet, knowing that extraordinary cures had been effected by the use of Hitchens' Celebrated Blood Restorer requested the proprietor of the Blood Restorer to take the case in hand, and a contract was entered into of "No cure, no pay."
