'One of the hotels for which renewal of license was refused, and belonging to Mr. Eherenfried, has been sold for a furniture warehouse, another has been opened as a temperance hotel.

A poet wrote a stirring ode on a victim of persecution, who was burned at the stake about the time of the ''Reformation, in . which occurred ; the line. ;'" See the pale matyr in his sheet of fire !" of which the poet was especially proud ; but the printer accidently got it, " See the pale martyr with his shirt on fire'"
