Sir,— l trust that at the meeting tonight to inaugurate the Horticultural Society, that if formed, it will be deemed advisable to amalgamate with it an exhibition of poultry and fancy birds. 1 think this would meet with the wishes of a great many, and would, no doubt, prove a valuable adjunct to the show. The exhibition of poultry, &c. , would not I think, in any way interfere with the show at the Agricultural and Pastoral Society, as a great number of town residents are debarred by the great distance from sending exhibits, and moreover, there are advantages which cannot be arrived at in a country show. I hope there will be some one present at the meeting to-night, who takes sufficient interest in the matter, to introduce it to their notice. — I am, &c,
A. Brahma,
