[Special to the Herald.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday, June 9. Legislative Council. The Legislative Council met at 2. 30. The Hon. Mr. Mantell gave notice of motion to introduce the Deceaaed Wife's Sister's Bill. The Fisheries Bill was read a second time. The Council adjourned at 5.5. This Day. The Council met yesterday at 2.30 p.m. Hon. Mr. Mantell introduced the Deceased Wife's Sister's Bill, which was read a first time. The Fisheries Bill passed through committee after several amendments, one being the excision of exemption of privileges hitherto given to Natives. The Council adjourned at 4.30 p.m.
