DRUNKENNESS,
Mary, a Maori, was charged by the Police with being drunk, yesterday afternoon, and so incapable cf locomotion, that the Police found it necessary to engage the services of a dray in order to convey her to the lock-up. Mary had been liberated on bail, but foiled to appear. Bail forfeited, ' and cartage ordered to be paid.
