AUCKLAND.
This Day. Te Ngakau expresses surprise at the vast change in Auckland since he visited it in 1855. He says that Mount Eden and Mount Hobson remain, but everything else is changed. After an interview with Mr. Bryce yesterday, he was taken on a visit to H.M.S. Woolveriue and Cormorant. He hopes to visit Auckland more frequently. Yesterday several racehorses that competed at the Autumn Meeting were put up for sale at Haymarket. Saunterer was sold for £61 ; Eversley, £40 ; Hilarious, £240.
