DUNEDIN.

This Day. Yesterday, in the Supreme Court, Butler pleaded guilty to the burglarly at Stamper's house, and was found guilty by the jury of stealing books from the Catholic Church. He was sentenced to 18 years penal servitude for burglary, and 10 years for robbery, the sentences to run concurrently. The Crown Prosecutor stated he would consult the Attorney-General whether the other indictments for murder would be proceeded with.
