AUCKLAND.
Tliis Day. At the Supreme Court yesterday, George Eyre, farmer, charged with cattle stealing, was acquitted. Te Hena Maoua, Pina Hakumate, Hane Hohumua, Wera Heka, Pera and Hunahui, were found guilty of forcible entry by intimidation, upon the premises of Isaac Wilson, Hotelkeeper, Taupo Lake District, in December last, and were fined £10 each, the Judge remarking that he did not think the case called for severe punishment. Just before the rising of the Court, Mr. Bromfield, late solicitor in Gisborne, fell down in a fit, and was carried out of Conrt.
