This Day. Major Willis has resigned his seat for Rangiteki. It is probable that Sir William Fox and Mr. McLean will be the candidates. The latter contested the seat in the Grey interest against Major Willis at the last election. Everseley, the steeplechaser, bound to Auckland in the Arawata, jumped out of his box on Saturday afternoon, and went down the hold, a distance of seven feet, and fortunately without injuring himself.
